Town and Country Planning (Permitted Order) 2005
The old Isle of Man Planning Scheme (Development Plan) Order 1982 and the levels of permitted development were replaced by those provided for under the Town and Country Planning (Permitted Development) Order 2005. Planning Committee - Standing Orders
Under the same Order, the Planning Committee conduct its meetings in public. In doing so, the Committee and staff of the Directorate are required to act in accordance with the Standing Orders set down by statute under Government Circular number 39/05. This Circular is available to view by clicking on the link below, along with various Circulars outlining the levels of delegated authority assigned to the Member of the Department with responsibility for planning matters, the Director of Planning and Building Control and the Senior Planning Officer.
