Location Plans and Hard Copy Mapping
The digital mapping is also available as hard copy plots, in a variety of scales and paper sizes to suit many purposes. Maps can be ordered by phone, email or by calling at the 1st Floor Reception, DLGE, Murray House, Douglas. See the How to Contact us section for details. A Map Plots price list is available to download at the bottom of this page.
Customers wishing to make multiple copies of hard copy maps, must either pay a one-off copyright fee of £7.50 or if applicable, take out an annual Copyright Licence which permits organisations to make unlimited copies of maps for £171.50 (+ VAT) per annum. A sample Copyright Licence is available to download at the bottom of this page.
Location Plans for Planning Applications
For Planning Applications, an A3 1:500 scale location plan (cost £9.50) will usually suffice (eg for an application on a semi detached house). Of course, there may be exceptions, so please ask for advice if in doubt. (The next scale of mapping normally required is 1:1,250 scale, which would cost £15.50 for an A3 plan).
Payment Terms
No credit can be offered for amounts of under £40.
We regret that we are only able to accept Debit Card payments from personal callers.
Licence holders for digital and hard copy mapping will be invoiced at agreed intervals. All other requests for invoicing must be agreed in advance and accompanied by an official company order.
