Aerial Photography

The Isle of Man has a wealth of vertical aerial photography available, and since 2001 the imagery is held in digital format allowing for seamless coverage of the Island.
The photography is primarily flown for map revision purposes, and areas of significant change are flown each year creating a patchwork of coverage across the Island. However there have been four whole-Island aerial surveys flown (1964, 1972, 2001 & 2006), all of which are available to the public and business customers alike.
The imagery is available as digital orthophotography (from 2001 onwards) or as hard copy prints. The two downloadable leaflets below explain what is available and how to order it.
The imagery from the 2006 whole Island survey has been licensed to http://getmapping.com who offer a high quality online service and can provide high quality prints which make wonderful souvenirs or gifts. Please visit their website for further information.
