Mapping for Isle of Man Government Departments, Boards and Bodies
Most Government Departments and Statutory Bodies hold mapping licences and therefore have full access to spacial datasets.
Many of these organisations already take care of their own spatial needs entirely in-house, and therefore some requests for mapping may be directed to the appropriate Department.
MANNGIS
MANNGIS is a pan-Government project, set up in 1992, to facilitate and encourage a joined-up approach to the development of digital map data, gazetteers and Geographic Information Systems in Government Departments and Statutory Boards
MANNGIS also manage and license the Island's address and street gazetteers, please contact them directly for further details: manngis@gov.im
For further information visit the MANNGIS website: http://www.gov.im/manngis/
Third Party Mapping
Private organisations contracted to undertake work on behalf of Isle of Man Government for which mapping is required, are requested to ask their Government contract manager to contact us to arrange supply of data.
