Sheltered Housing Authorities
The following Authorities administer sheltered housing stock in the Island :-
- Douglas Corporation – Waverley Court/ Ballanard Court
- Cooil Roi Elderly Person’s Housing Committee, Laxey
- Marashen Crescent Sheltered Housing Committee – Port Erin
- Peel & Western Districts Housing Committee
- Ramsey & Northern Districts Housing Committee
- Royal British Legion
- Castletown & Malew Elderly Persons Housing Board
- Springfield Court Elderly Persons Committee - Onchan

Common criteria for waiting list
As with general housing, a common approach is used for acceptance on to a waiting list. Download a copy of the acceptance criteria from the document table at the botttom of the page.
There is no pointing system for allocation of sheltered housing.
How to Apply
In order to apply for acceptance on a sheltered housing list, or for any further advice in relation to sheltered housing, you should contact the relevant Housing Authority. Please refer to the list of Authorities above, for contact details of each one.
