Home Improvement Grants

The Home Improvement and Energy Conservation Scheme 2005

The above Scheme was introduced by the Department as a means of offering financial assistance to owner/occupiers to carry out vital repairs and improvements.

An explanatory guide has been prepared to show how the Scheme works, including what is eligible for assistance, the levels of assistance available, and the qualification criteria.

The Department also provides grant assistance under the Historic Buildings Conservation Scheme 2000, which applies specifically to Registered Buildings, Pre-1921 buildings, and properties in Conservation Areas. For further information, visit the Conservation Section.
