Domestic Gas Safety

The Isle of Man has adopted gas safety regulations based on those of the UK. The key requirement is that all those doing gas work must be registered with the Council for Registered Gas Installers (CORGI). The regulations also impose duties on landlords in respect of gas appliances installed in their properties.

The Inspectorate has produced 3 leaflets explaining the registration requirement, the duties of landlords and the safe use of gas by the public.
