Service Delivery Plan
What is the purpose of the Plan?
The Department’s Plan for 2008 explains how we intend to provide services to the public during that period. Applying the principles contained in the Plan will ensure that we focus on the Department’s priorities, which are linked to Government’s corporate aims and objectives. It also makes us more accountable for what we do. The Plan is available to view or download in the table at the bottom of the page.
What are the Key Challenges?
- Area Planning and Development Control
- Affordable housing
- Waste Management
- Climate Change and Sustainability
- Asset Management
- Local Authority Service Delivery
These Challenges are explained in more detail in the Plan, along with an explanation as to how the Department aims to address them.
The Plan also includes the following information:-
- An overview of what the Department does
- Financial budgets over the next 3 years
- How the Department contributes, to varying degrees, towards a significant proportion of Isle of Man Government's Stategic Policies and Aims
