General Medicine, including specialised rheumatology, cardiology, oncology, gastroenterology and chest medicine, diabetology, the medicine of old age (including a rehabilitation/stroke unit and Day Hospital) and a dedicated Coronary Care Unit. There are 6 Consultant Physicians each with a special interest. There are 4 medical/elderly wards, a medical admissions unit (MAU), an oncology suite and a stroke and rehabilitation unit (Newlands).
