AIMS & MISSION
Aims
In our continuing commitment to delivering good health care to the public we will:-
- Implement quality assurance by means of the clinical governance strategy.
- Develop the management organisation including clinical directorates and clinical teams with devolved decision-making.
- Develop business planning as an essential process for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of our business.
- Aim to keep waiting lists to an absolute minimum and seek to manage our capability effectively.
- Accept the jurisdiction of the UK professional bodies e.g. GMC and the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and of UK training bodies e.g. Royal Colleges
- Implement performance reviews, job plans and appraisals as a means of focusing professional and management resources to achieve success.
- Develop IM & T to support clinical and management decision-making and improve data quality by means of the e-PRAIS strategy.
- Encourage openness and transparency in our dealings, an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust and a no blame culture.
- Ensure the success of the commissioning programme by achieving a seamless transfer to, and efficient and effective operation of, TNH.
