DHSS STAFF AND CUSTOMER SERVICE

Our Staff

Our Staff

To provide excellent customer service, we need the commitment of our staff. We encourage staff to seek further education and work towards new qualifications and skills. This means that the service and care we provide will always be a high standard. It is very important to have well trained staff. That is why we offer a variety of training and development programmes. If you would like more information, visit our Education and Training Pages, by clicking this link..

The staff suggestion scheme 'Brainwaves' invites all members of staff to think of and put in place improvements to anything in the service they provide. The aim of the scheme aims is to improve customer service by using resources better. Click this link to find out more about Brainwaves.

We take great pride in celebrating the successes of our staff. We celebrate by announcing successes in our staff newsletter InTouch (click this link to read InTouch Online) and on a dedicated page on our website click this link if you would like to read about some of these successes.

In addition, the Department recognises improvements made to an aspect of customer service with the annual Top Team Award. For more information about the Top Team Award, click this link.
