Influenza Centres:
Flu Centres will be set up across the Island. Note that these will not be GP Surgeries.
The Flu Centres will come into operation when cases increase considerably and it is appropriate to do so.
Information for the public:
Information will be disseminated to ensure that all members of the public are:
- aware of their nearest Flu Centre
- its opening hours
- how to contact the Centre
- who should visit the Centre
- and the importance of contacting the Centre to receive antivirals within 48 hours of onset of symptoms.
As further information becomes available this will be added to this webpage.
If you have symptoms in the meantime
- Stay at home, DO NOT ATTEND WORK, contact your GP by phone if you have flu symptoms – fever, cough, sore throat or body aches and pains
