Presentation of Cancer Statistics on the Isle of Man

Thursday 6th November 2008, Keyll Darree, Lecture Theatre, at 6 pm

The Department of Health and Social Security invited members of the Island’s media to attend a public presentation of Cancer Statistics in the Isle of Man on Thursday 6 November 2008.

The presentation announced the findings of an analysis of Cancer Data for the Isle of Man, carried out by the North West Cancer Intelligence Service. The presentation was delivered by Dr Parameswaran Kishore, Director of Public Health and Lorraine Shack, North West Cancer Intelligence Service.

A press conference will take place following this presentation to provide the media with the opportunity to discuss the findings with Dr Kishore and Ms Shack. For further information, contact Dr Kishore, Director of Public Health on 642688 or email publichealth@gov.im.
