UNDERGRADUATE EDUCATION (DEGREE / DIPLOMA)

Pre-registration Nurse Education

The Centre offers a three year full-time Diploma in Higher Education (Nursing Studies) Adult Nursing. The programme is 50% theory and 50% practice based. Students will practice across all areas of healthcare provision on the Isle of Man. Nurse Education is also responsible for return to practice programmes and the approval of practice placement for Non European Union nurses wishing to gain a Nursing and Midwifery Council registration.

Multi-professional Diplomas/Degrees

The Centre offers a range of short modules, diplomas and degrees. The vast majority of these are applicable to all people working within health care.

National Vocational Qualification

The Centre offers NVQ programmes in Health and Social Care at Level 2, 3 and 4. Included in this are both the Vocational Assessors Award (A1) and the Internal Verifiers Award (V1).
