Current Awareness Services

(a) Journal Contents Page Service

This service is to enable staff to keep up to date with what is being published in professional journals. We can usually arrange to have the contents pages of any journals you are interested in to be circulated to you, often electronically, to help keep you up to date in your particular subject area. N.B. This service only gives you details of the articles as they appear on the journal contents page - no full text access.

(b) 'IN THE KNOW' current awareness bulletin

Produced fortnightly, this bulletin covers local and national health and social care news, including current news items, evidence-based practice, reports, guidelines and documents. The most recent issue can be found on this website.

Book Purchase Scheme

Departmental purchase or personal copies can be obtained via a local bookseller. Please enquire about the possibility of purchasing copies for departments. Please ask library staff for details.
