What we do
- Provide Social Enquiry Reports to the Criminal Courts.
- Provide Family Court Welfare Reports to the Family Courts in relation to the arrangements for children where the parental relationship has broken down.
- To risk assess offenders using appropriate assessment tools.
- To supervise offenders under the conditions laid down by the Courts.
- To supervise offenders released under various forms of custodial licence from custodial sentences.
- To provide a community service scheme so that offenders subject to Community Service Orders are found unpaid work in the community.
- To work in partnership with other agencies through the secondment of staff to: Isle of Man Prison, The Drug and Alcohol Team (A Division of the DHSS).
- Risk assess offenders using appropriate tools.
- Provide a range of rehabilitation programmes to address offending behaviour.
