Our pledge to you

In addition to the projects outlined on the Community Initiatives page, we will continue to do the things we have done in 2008 –

* Keeping crime low.

* Putting ourselves at times and in places where we should be.

* Working with partners, both at government and local level.

* Providing day-to-day policing requirements.

* Policing events – such as Tynwald Day, Peel Day, Carnival, Viking festival, Long Boat festival, Parish Walk, Civic Sundays, TT and MGP.

Our pledge:

* To treat people with dignity and respect.

* To use Name in every Neighbourhood and Cuppa with a Copper to communicate with people.

* Ensure we are visible and in your area at the times we should be.

* Answer our calls for service promptly, politely and deal with them. Attend meetings with partners.

* Provide monthly updates on progress via our website: http://www.gov.im/dha/police/western.xml

* Keep victims informed of the progress of their case. Maintain our high standards.
