Disability Employment Service
The Disability Employment Service (DES) is provided by the Department of Economic Development (DED) to assist individuals with disabilities to gain employment, which may be paid or unpaid. DES also assists employers by providing guidance, assistance and equipment where appropriate. The Disability Employment Advisers work closely with the Job Centre, which is also operated by DED, and both services are located in the same building.
