It is proposed to have two sets of new regulations which revoke and replace existing regulations which give effect to SOLAS Chapter II-2 and bring the Isle of Man's SOLAS Chapter II-2 requirements up to date. The consultation has 3 sections: section 1 contains an overview of the draft regulations; section 2 contains interpretation of SOLAS Chapter II-2 requirements and section 3 is a separate document which is an MSN on the maintenance and inspection of fire protection systems and appliances and should be read in conjunction with this document. |
