Title | Post Office (Amendment) Bill 2012 |
Description | The current legislation relating to postal services on the Isle of Man is almost 20 years old. In the intervening period the postal marketplace has changed significantly due to the increasing sophistication of communications technology and changing customer preferences. The Board of the Post Office considers that, in order for it to effectively react to these changes, an update to the legislation is required. The Department of Economic Development, with responsibility for the Post Office Authority, is therefore conducting a consultation exercise in order to seek the views of interested parties or person(s) on these proposed changes. Review of Consultees' Comments added August 2013. (Document added as a PDF download). |
