| Description | In May 2011 the Department published “Intellectual Property Rights in the Isle of Man: a Consultation Document”. The paper set out a number of possible amendments of the law of the Isle of Man relating to intellectual property to update our legislation and reflect amendments that have been made to this area by law principally in the UK and the European Union. This Review, which needs to be read in conjunction with the original consultation document, sets out the comments that were received by organisations and individuals regarding the suggested amendments. Where appropriate, these are followed by a response from the Department and an overall conclusion. |
