Description | The companies legislation gives the Treasury power to make regulations that would permit private companies, subject to certain conditions being met, to elect to dispense with the current mandatory requirement for all companies to hold annual general meetings. Comments are being sought on the questions set out in the proposal and on the draft Regulations. |
