Please make yourself known at the reception desk at Thie Slieau Whallian and please ensure you bring your photo-ID card with you when collecting bait.
Please note that bait will not be available for collection outside of these times nor will bait be given to anyone who cannot present a valid card.
Pest Control
The pest control service exists to ensure that the Isle of Man is kept free from the nuisance of pests and the damage they can cause.
Treatments for public health pests (rats, mice, cockroaches, wasps, bees) are free of charge in all domestic premises and farms.
As the Island’s local authorities look to regenerate town centres, the question of pigeons and the associated “mess” they produce is constantly raised. Although pigeons are not public health pests, the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture has produced a guidance document to help local authorities, businesses and Government Departments control pigeon populations in the worst affected areas through non-lethal means.
If you have any enquiries with regard to pest control services, please contact this office by telephoning (01624) 685894, or email ehenquiries@gov.im.
Dog Warden
The Dog Warden is employed to monitor and respond to complaints about stray dogs. If you wish to contact him, please telephone (07624) 494475.
If you wish to complain about excessive dog barking, your complaint will be dealt with by an Environmental Health Officer and you should visit Nuisance Complaints for more information.
