Welcome to the Countryside Care Scheme website

The Countryside Care Scheme forms one of the components of the Policy for Manx Agriculture which was approved by Tynwald in April 2008. The details of the Scheme will be presented to Tynwald in December 2008 and therefore the content of these pages is subject to approval until that time. The aim is for the Scheme to commence on 1 April 2009.

This website will be added to and expanded as we get closer to the commencement date. It will include questions and answers so these will grow as we receive comments from farmers and others involved in the agricultural industry.

Following the final consultation period, revised versions of all the Scheme documents can now be downloaded. These are the versions which will be submitted to the December sitting of Tynwald.

Details of the changes to be made to existing Schemes in tandem with the plans to implement the new Scheme can now be downloaded from the Consultations page.
