The ‘Pigs (Records, Identification and Movement) Order 2007’ is now in force. Please see Required Records, Identification and Tracing for further information.

If you keep pigs and have not yet been in touch with DEFA Agriculture in order to gain a Pig Holding Number - please do so as soon as possible.

You will need a Pig Holding Number to be able to move animals (including to the meat plant). Please contact us on 685844 or Agriculture @gov.im
