Pigs
The new ‘Pigs (Records, Identification and Movement) Order 2007’ is now in force. Please see Required Records, Identification and Tracing for further information.
The requirement for marking and movement licences will become effective from 01 March 2008.
If you keep pigs and have not yet been in touch with the Animal Health Division in order to gain a Pig Holding Number - please do so as soon as possible. You will need this number to be able to move animals (including to the meat plant) from 01 March 2008. Please contact us on 685844 or animal.health@gov.im
