Export Controls for Pigs

If you are planning to export pigs - the Animal Health Division requires the following information at least 48 hours prior to the lairage, in order to prepare the 'Export Health Certificate':

• Tag Number (herd and individual number);
• Breed
• Sex
• Age
• Name and Address of Exporter
• Address of Lairage Premises
• Name and Address of Destination
• Vehicle/Wagon Details - so a wagon inspection can be carried out; please see: Wagon Inspections
