Export to Overseas Countries

Are you planning to travel your pet to a non-EU country?

1. First, contact your own private Veterinary Surgeon;

2. Your vet will supply an application form for your completion;

3. Forward your completed form to DAFF Animal Health.

Contact should initially be made with your own private Veterinary Surgeon, who will supply an Application form for your completion. The completed application form must be forwarded to the Animal Health Division, 51-59 Circular Road, Douglas, Isle of Man IM1 1AZ.

Once Animal Health receives your completed application, processing of the specific Export Certification will begin.

Details of the requirements for your specific export will be sent to your own Veterinary Surgeon who will arrange the appropriate appointments with you.

Allow at least 6 weeks for your export procedure, as some countries require blood tests, vaccinations, or treatments in the Isle of Man before your animal can be consigned.
