Integrating Children's Services
We are entering a new phase in the way in which our children’s services will be delivered. All the Government’s children and young people’s workforce and many of those who work with children in the voluntary and private sector have received information about the new direction. This information is posted below. Over 300 people have attended one of five regional seminars chaired by Mrs Anne Craine, the Minister for Education and participated in the workshops. A presentation was given at the Seminars which is also posted below.
John Cain, Will Greenhow and David Killip, the Chief Executives of Education, Home Affairs and Health and Social Security are working on the feedback from the workshops and the questionnaires received. They will be reporting back to the Council of Ministers at the end of September on the consultation together with an implementation plan for how we start to make the proposals happen.
