The Town and Country Planning Act 1999, Proposed Development Order, Ballakilley, Bride
Public Inquiry
In December 2010, the Department of Infrastructure published a notice in which it indicated its intention to make an Order under section 8 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1999, the effect of which would be to grant Approval in Principle for the residential development of approximately 1.2 ha of land which lies between Ballakilley Hill and the Lambhill Road, in Bride village.
After considering the responses to that notice, the Department decided to arrange a Public Inquiry to enable a full debate of the issues raised.
Copies of the Draft Order and a Background Statement prepared by the Planning and Building Control Division of the Department are available as pdf documents below.
The Inspector will make a report to the Minister for Infrastructure, including a recommendation as to whether or not the Department should make the proposed Order.
