The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry is seeking your views on whether the Isle of Man should become a party to this international convention, to strengthen our commitment to conserving the Island’s rich, diverse and unique community of wild plants and animals and their habitats, as well as the ecosystems they form and the various benefits they provide (including economic).

The consultation document and a summary leaflet are available here. Printed copies can be provided on request to the Wildlife and Conservation Division. Views are invited from all interested parties.

The Isle of Man Government is embarking on an initiative aimed at improving the way it delivers a range of its public services. An important part of this exercise is to canvass the opinions of the general public and business community to determine how they would like Government to deliver its services. Views can be submitted via the online consultation form.

The Department is now consulting on a revision of the draft Order that was first published for consultation in December 2006. The effect of the Order would be to grant Planning Approval in Principle for the industrial development of land lying in the Parish of Braddan.
