Some ideas received at the Isle of Man Agricultural Shows include:
- Only switch on appliances when you need to use them
- Cook your main evening meals in bulk, freeze and use the microwave to re-heat the defrosted meal when needed
- Cycle not drive
- Wash clothes at a lower temperature
- Encourage children to turn off lights when not in use
