Criminal Justice Project Team
The Criminal Justice Board was in March 2013 at the request of the Criminal Justice Board. The Criminal Justice Project Team (CJPT) is responsible for the implementation of the strategy at an operational level and report to the Criminal Justice Board.
The Project Team consists of:

The Criminal Justice Board:
- Provide strong and clear leadership and commitment to the aims of the Criminal Justice Board within our organisations
- Provide a framework to achieve the corporate objectives and targets for the criminal justice service,
- Address the challenges posed by the divergent cultures within the different organisations and work towards a sense of common understanding across all areas of the CJS
- Monitor and review key performance indicators and benchmarking
- Continue to identify future improvements and make recommendations to the CJB
- Provide resources to assist in the delivery of the CJB Objectives
- Engage in partnerships with Departments responsible for social policies to prevent entry and re-entry into the CJS
- Support the external review of our performance, ie HM Inspectors
