Enjoy all 13 Story of Mann sites this summer including Castle Rushen, The Nautical Museum, The Old Grammar School, The Old House of Keys, Rushen Abbey, Peel Castle, The Great Laxey Wheel and Mines Trail, The National Folk Museum at Cregneash , and The Grove.
The Manx Museum in Douglas and The House of Manannan in Peel remain open all year round (Manx Museum closed on Sundays).
Monday 16th June 2008 to Saturday 26th July 2008Hidden Secrets at Rushen Abbey - 2008 Archaeological Dig.Rushen Abbey, daily, from 10am to 5pm. Admission charge.

Witness the fascinating work of Archaeologists as they attempt to discover more about the Island's religious history at this important medieval monastic site.

Saturday 28th June 2008 to Saturday 30th August 2008 IOM Photographic Society 70th Anniversary Exhibition - Manx Museum, Temporary Exhibition Gallery. Open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm. Admission is free of charge.
This exhibition will showcase members work whilst exploring the illustrious history of the society.
Sunday 13th July 2008Tea Dance at Rushen AbbeyStrawberries and Cream Tea Dance - Rushen Abbey, Ballasalla, 12pm to 4.30pm. Admission charge.
Step into the not too distant past and enjoy the good old fashioned fun of a ‘Strawberries and Cream Tea Dance’. Hosted by the Friends of Manx National Heritage, there’ll be no excuse for wallflowers as tuition will be available throughout the day for those who don’t remember the dances for the first time round! As for those of you that do, come along and relive those dear old memories!
Sunday 20th July 2008Songs of Praise at Rushen Abbey - Rushen Abbey, Ballasalla, 2.30pm to 3.30pm. Free admission to the service.
Join us for the annual Open Air Songs of Praise Service in the peace and tranquillity of Rushen Abbey Grounds. .
2nd August 2008 to 2009CarolinePirates of the Irish Sea: Radio Caroline North - Peel Town Display, House of Manannan, Peel. Open 10am to 5pm, Daily. Free admission to display.
In the midst of the swinging sixties the MV Caroline anchored off Ramsey Bay with a host of colourful DJs and the latest tunes from the hit parade. This exhibition will celebrate the phenomenon of Radio Caroline North.
Sunday 24th August 2008Manx May Day at Cregneash70th Anniversary - Cregneash Gathering - The National Folk Museum at Cregneash, Cregneash Village, 10am to 5pm Admission charge.
Join the celebrations at Cregneash for the 70th anniversary of the opening of Harry Kelly’s Cottage to the public. A day out for the whole family with a variety of craft and farming demonstrations.
Saturday 13th September 2008 to Saturday 10th January 2009Robert Evans Creer Watercolours Exhibition - Manx Museum, Temporary Exhibition Gallery. Open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm. Admission is free of charge.
An exhibition showcasing the work of Robert Evans Creer, a Manx artist working in the late 19th Century. His watercolours show predominantly rural scenes and document a way of life which was rapidly changing.
Sunday 26th October 2008Hop tu Naa - The National Folk Museum at Cregneash, Cregneash Village, 10am to 5pm Admission charge.
A day of family activities where everyone can join in the preparations for Hop tu Naa, the Celtic New Year’s Eve. Discover why this occasion was celebrated , carve turnip lanterns and learn Hop tu Naa dances and songs.
