Workshops By Subject
Here you will find workshop sessions available all year round at Manx National Heritage Sites. Educational workshops are free to all Manx schools. Schools only need to consider their own transport arrangements to a site.
Curriculum relevant workshops will be published at the end of an academic year for bookings to be confirmed for the following year. After discussing your requirements with Education Services print out a Workshop Permit Application and send it to Anthea Young the Education Services Officer. A copy of this will then be returned to you with a permit number. This form can then be used as your permit for entering the site.
These workshops are designed to meet your curriculum needs and will help you to make the most of your visits out of school. From Easter through to the end of October, workshops led by our staff are also available on request at certain Seasonal Sites. We run "special" Hands On Education Weeks at particular sites. Further information and details of booking are sent to schools nearer the time.
Please contact Education Services (Tel: +44 (0) 1624 648000) so that a time and place can be arranged for your workshop, before filling our your Workshop Permit Application Form.
