Manx Museum - Information & Resources
We recommend that teachers make a free advance visit to sites when they prepare their own teaching materials. If you wish to do this, indicate the preferred date and time on the general visit permit application.
Information leaflets are available at reception. These include information on all the galleries and a map showing where they are situated. The Heritage Site Offices are always available to answer your queries on any particular gallery within the museum.
The Manx Museum houses the Manx National Heritage Library. The library is open from 10am to 5pm Monday to Saturday.
Teachers wishing to bring pupils to the library should make a preliminary appointment with library staff in order to discuss how pupils can use the library most effectively and give staff the opportunity to prepare materials.
