House of Manannan - Teachers' Information

The ground floor areas comprise striking audio-visual displays on the themes of Manx Celtic and Viking history. Some of these presentations take place inside the atmospheric interiors of a reconstructed Celtic roundhouse and Viking longhouse. One of the remarkable displays includes Odin's Raven, a two-thirds replica of the Gokstad longship, found in Norway.

If you wish to make a preliminary visit yourself, before taking your class, simply indicate this on your permit application form for your class general visit.
